1. Introduction
1.1. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use, which is accessible at www.myscoop.co, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
1.2. myScoop respects the protection of privacy. Therefore myScoop has made this policy about processing of personal data (“Privacy Policy"). The policy describes how myScoop collects and processes data about you when you use myScoop’s Platforms.
1.3. If you choose to use our services, then you agree to the collection and use of information related to this policy. The personal information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
1.4. myScoop is data controller of your personal data. All inquiries must be made via the contact information stated under section 12.

2. Consent
2.1. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you consent to myScoop’s collection and processing of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.
2.2. You are entitled to at any time to withdraw your consent by contacting myScoop via the contact information stated under section 12. For further information about withdrawal, please see subsection 11.7.
3. Personal Data
3.1. When you register to become a User to use the Service and publish and/or purchase license to Content, myScoop will process your personal data, such as name, date of birth, sex, title, company name, job function, e-mail address and geographical placement (see subsection 3.1.1.) as well as information about purchases and sales on the Service.
3.1.1. Geographical placements will only be collected and processed if you have accepted this when creating a User account.
3.2. The collection of personal data is necessary in order to fulfill the User Agreement, providing you with the Service and to comply with obligations imposed on myScoop by applicable law.
3.3. The collection of your date of birth, sex, title and job function is necessary for the purpose of pursuing myScoop’s interest in providing you the best Service. myScoop uses the data for analytical purposes to continuously improve and optimize the Service to your needs.
3.4. myScoop urges you not to include any sensitive personal data in your use of the Service. Sensitive personal data includes data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, or data concerning health or sex life.
3.5. We may transfer information that we collect about you (personal information) across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions that doesn’t have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.
4. Payment Information
4.1. If you use myScoop’s Service for purchases or sales of license or other financial transactions, myScoop collects information about the transaction. This includes for instance your payment information, such as your credit card or other card information, account and verification information as well as billing information and contact details (“Payment Information").
4.2. The collection of Payment Information is necessary in order to fulfill the User Agreement providing you with the Service.
4.2.1. When you use the Service for purchases or sales of license or other financial transactions you accept that myScoop may disclose Payment information to PayPal Inc., 2211 North First Street San Jose, California 95131, United States or any PayPal official office around the world (collectively referred to as “PayPal"), depending on the location of the transaction for the purpose of being able to facilitate purchases and sales of licenses. In addition to other payment means and parties which myScoop may use.
4.3. In order to have your payment processed, you need to read and accept PayPal’s terms and conditions and PayPal’s legal agreement https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/legalhub-full. By agreeing to these terms and conditions and legal agreement, you accept to be bound by the PayPal’s terms and conditions and legal agreement as the same may be modified by PayPal from time to time.
5. Other Information myScoop Collects
5.1. When you access the Platform, myScoop may automatically (i.e. not by registration) collect personal data, e.g. IP address, type of Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the website from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the Platform, electronic address (e.g. IP- and MAC-address), terminal equipment and connection information, referral URLS, preferences, information about your use of the Service.
5.2. The Service automatically tracks how the Content provided is used. This tracking allows myScoop to pursue our interests in gaining a better understanding of potential areas for improvement and to continually improve the relevance of and accessibility of the Service.
5.3. This usage information will only be used within myScoop and myScoop’s relevant partners (suppliers of technical support and operation of the Service and financial institutions in regards to purchases and sales), to increase the quality of Content, Service and support to myScoop’s Users. Some of this information may be made public from time to time; however, it will only be in an aggregate, non-personally identifiable form.

6. Collecting and Processing Purposes
6.1. Personal data is collected and processed for the purpose of being able to administrate your User account and provide the Service and facilitate purchases and sales. The data may also be used to improve myScoop’s knowledge about myScoop’s Users, to monitor and improve the attractiveness of the Service, to send you relevant marketing material, targeted marketing material as well as Content requests from other Users through electronic post, push messages and other technologies. The data may also be collected and processed to provide questionnaires as well as for competitions purposes.
7. Disclosure of Personal Data
7.1. myScoop only discloses your personal data to the extent described in this Privacy Policy.
7.2. When you sign up to create a User Account you accept that myScoop may disclose your name and your uploaded Content to other Users. The personal data is disclosed to other Users for the purpose of being able to facilitate purchases and sales of licenses.
7.3. myScoop is not responsible for the Users processing of your personal data.
7.4. myScoop reserve the right to disclose your personal data based on a request from public authorities, including local tax authorities, police and courts and in cases where myScoop under current legislation is obliged to do so.
7.5. We may employ third-party companies and/or individuals due to the following reasons: (i) To facilitate our services; (ii) To provide the services on our behalf; (iii) To perform service-related services; (iv) To assist us in analyzing how our services is used.
7.5.1. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
7.5.2. The Service may contain features or links to Web sites and services provided by third parties. Any information you provide on third-party sites or services is provided directly to the operators of such services and is subject to those operators’ policies, if any, governing privacy and security, even if accessed through the Service. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third-party sites or services to which links or access are provided through the Service. We encourage you to learn about third parties’ privacy and security policies before providing them with information.
7.6. You can delete your account or make it silent any time. When you delete your account, we delete things you have posted, such as your Scoops. Switching your account to “silent” means you want to interact with the users you’re following only. Your scoops will be hidden for users you’re not following.
7.7. We are not responsible for any leak that may happen by an unauthorized mean from our side to a third-party.
7.8. We use GoogleMaps for map service, you need to read and accept GoogleMaps terms and privacy at https://policies.google.com/terms and https://policies.google.com/privacy. By agreeing to these, you accept to be bound by the GoogleMaps terms and conditions as the same may be modified by GoogleMaps from time to time.
8. Use of Data Processors
8.1. myScoop use external companies located within Vietnam to provide software in order to enable the Service and to undertake the technical operation of the Platform and Service and other assistance related hereto. For instance, myScoop’s suppliers assist myScoop in connection with carrying out statistical, marketing related or operational tasks, including with the purpose of collecting and analyzing information about myScoop’s Users’ demographic composition, interests, consumption patterns and other matters. These companies are data processors under myScoop’s instruction and only process data for which myScoop are data controller. The data processors must not use the data for another purpose than instructed by myScoop.
9. Links to Other Websites
9.1 The Platform may contain links to other sites. myScoop is not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents of such other sites and myScoop therefore recommend you to become acquainted with any third-party policies.
9.2. If you linked any website or service to myScoop, you should know that myScoop is not responsible for any practice operated by them, including information contained within them. When you use a link to go from our service to another website or service, our Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party website or service, including those that have a link on our Service, are subject to that third party’s own rules and policies. In addition, you agree that we are not responsible and don’t have control over any third-parties that you authorize to access your User Content. If you are using a third-party website or service and you allow them to access your User Content, you do so at your own risk.
10. Security
10.1. myScoop is using technical and organizational measures to ensure appropriate protection of personal data and to avoid loss of data or likewise. myScoop’s technical and organizational measures will be revised and updated regularly to ensure safety.
10.2. We value your trust in providing us your personal information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. However, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or store on the Service, and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
10.2.1. Although we may allow you to adjust your privacy settings to limit access to certain personal information, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on the Service. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users with whom you may choose to share your information. Further, even after information posted on the Service is removed, caching and archiving services may have saved that information, and other users or third parties may have copied or stored the information available on the Service. We cannot and do not guarantee that information you post on or transmit to the Service will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.
11. Your Rights
11.1 The right of access.
11.1.1. You are at any time entitled to by a written request to receive information about myScoop’s processing of your personal data, e.g. which information myScoop have registered about you, the processing purpose, the categories of personal data concerned and the recipients to whom the information have been or will be disclosed.
11.1.2. You are entitled to receive a copy of the personal data myScoop process about you. For delivery of more copies, myScoop is entitled to charge a reasonable fee based on the administrative costs. Request to exercise this right must be sent in writing to 34-36 Grays Inn Road | London WC1X 8HR | United Kingdom together with documentation that you are the relevant person.
11.1.3. If you live in the European Union, you can send us a request to receive a copy of the personal data myScoop process about you. We are obligated to send you a copy from the personal data we are processing about you within days.
11.2. The right to rectification.
11.2.1. The right of rectification. You have the right to have incorrect personal data about you rectified by myScoop without undue delay. If you become aware that there are errors in the information myScoop have registered about you, myScoop urges you to contact myScoop in writing in order for myScoop to rectify the information. See contact details under section 12.
11.3. The right to deletion.
11.3.1 You have a right to have your personal data deleted by myScoop without undue delay if, for instance, myScoop no longer have a valid processing purpose or you withdraw your consent or myScoop have no other legal basis for processing your personal data etc. If myScoop can prove demonstrate compelling, legitimate reasons for continued processing which precede your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing is necessary for a legal claim to be established, exercised or defended, myScoop are not obliged to delete your personal data. Such legitimate reasons can for example be backup of Content. Backup is done for several purposes, among others to enable Users who have legitimately bought a license or another right to your Content to access said Content in accordance with the agreed terms. Other purposes for backup include storing myScoop Users’ conversations, but only in order to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim – otherwise these conversations will be effectively anonymized or deleted when no legitimate processing purpose exists.
11.4. The right to restrict processing.
11.4.1. You have a right to restrict myScoop’s processing of your personal data
11.5. The right to data portability.
11.5.1. You have a right to receive the personal data provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer these data to another data controller if myScoop’s processing of the data, for instance, is based on your consent and the processing is carried out by automated means.
11.6. The right to object.
11.6.1. You are at any time for reasons concerning your particular situation entitled to object to myScoop’s processing of your personal data if the processing, for example, is based on legitimate interests or profiling.
11.6.2. If you object to the processing, myScoop will no longer process your personal data unless myScoop can demonstrate compelling, legitimate reasons for continued processing which precede your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
11.6.3. You also have a right not to be the subject of a decision based exclusively on automated processing, including profiling, which has legal effect on you or similarly affects you significantly.

11.7 The right to withdraw consent.
11.7.1. You are at any time entitled to withdraw your consent to myScoop’s processing of your personal data. If you withdraw your consent, you must be aware that myScoop under certain circumstances is entitled to continue processing your data, for example where myScoop have another legal basis for processing your data. myScoop will inform you in such cases. Furthermore, myScoop refer to your other rights describe above.
11.7.2. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please send us an email. See contact details under section 12.
11.8. The right to complain.
11.8.1. You are at any time entitled to file a complaint to a supervisory authority about myScoop’s processing of your personal data.
11.9. Deletion of personal data.
11.9.1. myScoop will delete your data when the collection of data is no longer necessary to fulfill this Agreement and provide you the Service.
11.10. Your right to object.
You have the right to object to our use of your information. With many types of data, we’ve provided you with the ability to simply delete it if you don’t want us processing it anymore as long you did not sell the license of the Scoop. For other types of data, we’ve given you the ability to stop the use of your data by disabling the feature altogether. You can do these things in the Platform. If there are other types of information you don’t agree with us processing, you can contact us. See contact details under section 12.

13.1. myScoop is at any time entitled to amend this Privacy Policy. If myScoop makes amendments to the Privacy Policy, if the changes are significant, myScoop will provide a notice (in-app notification or e-mail notification).These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page, in addition to, you can always find the date of last modification at the top of the Privacy Policy page.
13.2. If you do not accept the amended policy, you must refrain from using the Service, as your continuous usage of myScoop will be taken as acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy and its modifications.
